Nancy McLean has studied painting with various artists including Leo Wong a Toronto based artist who taught her Chinese Brush Painting methods of the Sung Dynasty.  She taught this and drawing at the college level.  She studied Art History at McMaster University by exploring the differences between art styles.

She works mainly in oils.  Many of her works appear as fun fantasy but contain serious hidden images.
